What is Pre-Licensing Education?

Pre-Licensing education (PE) is the education required of all state licensed MLOs to work in the mortgage industry. This regulatory education was instituted as a result of the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act). In order to meet this requirement, state-licensed MLOs must complete 20 hours of NMLS approved education. NMLS is the system of record used by all state agencies. Our online instructor-led course make the process simple while preparing you for your new career.
