This course will look at an assortment of topics designed to help you find success with a variety of client types, including those who are environmentally conscious, struggling to afford housing, facing a short sale, or interested in real estate as an investment. This course is broken down into separate modules.

Green Transactions look at how you can capitalize on the “green” trend by helping environmentally minded clients and customers find and list energy efficient, eco-friendly homes.
Advocating for Short Sale Clients reviews distressed property transactions, the short sale process, and how you can best serve clients who are facing this situation.
Assisting Low-Income and First Time Home Buyers takes a look at the affordable housing crisis and offers solutions to help those struggling to find affordable housing find homes and financing.
Working with Real Estate Investors looks at recent and current market trends, and techniques for working with real estate investors to build lasting and mutually beneficial relationships.

Course highlights include:

Requirements to officially call a property “green”
Detailed information on “green” home features and appliances to point out in listings
Simple ways to “green” up any listing in a matter of minutes

Florida State Requirement Details for Real Estate Sales Associate Post-Licensing Education

Hours Required by the State: 45 hours within 18-24 months after obtaining the initial license.

Please note: All courses must be COMPLETED AND REPORTED to the Florida Real Estate Commission, PRIOR to your license expiration date. Please allow ample time for course completion and reporting to the state, otherwise your license could go on inactive status.

Reporting: The state requires course completions to be reported to the state. We will report your course to the state upon completion.

Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in your account. See Terms & Conditions for more details.

Certificates: Once The CE Shop has received the signed affidavit, your certificate of course completion will become available to download (and via email). The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic certificate of completion, upon completion of the course. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies. Please refer to your license application to determine if you need to submit your certificate of completion with your license request. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date of your certificate of completion will reflect this.

Final Exam: Final exams must be passed with a minimum of 75% and may be taken twice in order to pass. If the exam is not passed the second time, the licensee must re-enroll at no cost (by contacting customer support) and retake the entire course, including the final exam. Licensees will be allotted 1.8 minutes per question. Licensees have up to 1 year, after failing the first exam to complete a second attempt.
