State Requirements
This package includes two continuing education courses required for license renewals on or after January 1, 2026:
- Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations (7-hour self-paced course)
- 7-Hour USPAP Update Course (Live Online delivery - Click here to view the class schedule.)
The USPAP Update Course is delivered via Live Online (webinar) format. Students are required to have a working camera and microphone, and expected to be on camera from the shoulders up for the entirety of the course.
Students attending the USPAP Update course are also required to have a copy of the current USPAP®, USPAP® Guidance and Reference Manual, and Course Manual. After enrolling in the course, students will receive an email with the code needed to access digital versions of these materials.

Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations
This 7-hour AQB CAP approved course meets the Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations Outline from the Real Property Qualification Criteria for Continuing Education during the first CE cycle after January 1, 2026.

2026-2027 7-Hour National USPAP Continuing Education Course
The 7-Hour National USPAP Continuing Education Course focuses on the requirements for ethical behavior and competent performance by appraisers that are set forth in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). All required manuals from The Appraisal Foundation are included in your course.
This course is offered via live online (synchronous meeting) delivery. Once enrolled, you can select upcoming classes to attend. Classes are offered weekly in two 3.5-hour sessions (Part A and Part B). They must be taken in order, but you can select the schedule options that work best for you. Note to students in NH: State rules require that your final course exam be proctored. You'll need to schedule an appointment with an online proctor in advance. You can find full details of the proctoring process here.

Georgia State Requirement Details for Appraiser Continuing Education
Renewal Date: every year, by last day of birth month
Hours Required by the State for renewals prior to January 1, 2026: 14 Hours
- 7-Hour National USPAP Update Course, every 2 years
- 7 additional hours of approved continuing education if 7-hour USPAP was completed or 14 hours of approved continuing education
Hours Required by the State for renewals on or after January 1, 2026: 14 Hours
- 7-Hour National USPAP Continuing Education Course, every 2 years
- 7-hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations course or 4-hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations course (see explanation below)
- Additional continuing education required:

No additional education required if 7-hour USPAP and 7-hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations courses were completed

3 hours of approved continuing education required if 7-hour USPAP and 4-hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations courses were completed

14 hours of approved continuing education required if no other courses were completed
Beginning January 1, 2026, a Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations course will be required for Continuing Education. The first time a Licensee completes the Continuing Education requirement for this course, the course length must be 7 hours. If a Licensee successfully completed an 8-hour course as part of their Qualifying Education, they have satisfied this requirement. Every 2 calendar years thereafter, the course length must be at least 4 hours. This new course requirement is included in the 28 total hours for a 2-year renewal.

Course Duplication: A student may repeat a course and receive credit as long it has been over 12 months since the course was last taken.
Reporting: The state requires course completions to be reported to the state. We will report your course to the state upon completion.
Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in your account. See Terms & Conditions for more details.
Certificates: Immediately upon appraisal course completions, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course certificate of completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your certificate(s) of completion with your renewal. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date on your certificate of completion will reflect this.
