This course protects and promotes consumer interests by exploring fair housing protections, identifying duties owed to clients and customers, and striving to ensure licensee competency in areas necessary to safeguard client interests.
Newly licensed salespersons in Mississippi are required to complete an approved 30-hour post-licensing course within one year of receiving their temporary salesperson’s licenses.
This course fulfills the state's requirement for 30 hours of salesperson post-licensing, and it’s divided into seven modules:

Hours Required by the State: 30 hours within one year from date of initial licensure.

Reporting: Post-Licensing courses are not reported by the school, please submit your certificates of completion to info@mrec.state.ms.us within 1 year of the issuance of your temporary license.
Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course but are generally one year after order date. Each course has an individual expiration date which is listed in your account.
Certificates: Once The CE Shop has received the signed affidavit, your certificate of course completion will become available to download (and via email). The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic certificate of completion, upon completion of the course. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies. Please refer to your license application to determine if you need to submit your certificate of completion with your license request. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date of your certificate of completion will reflect this.
Post-Licensing Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with a minimum of 70% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass.
Max Hours in a 24-Hour Period: Students will not receive credit for more than 8 hours of postlicense education in a 24-hour period. Our online course delivery system manages this requirement for you.
