Aligned to the requirements of the current NAR cycle, this course will empower you to recognize and respond to ethical dilemmas, inspiring consumer confidence. For answers to ethical dilemmas, we’ll look to several articles of the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics, and draw from real-life ethical scenarios. In three short hours, you’ll be better prepared to exemplify the professionalism and cooperation that’s the true foundation of the real estate industry.

Renewal Date: 6/30 every even-numbered year for Brokers; 9/30 every even-numbered year for Salespersons
Hours Required: 12 hours
Licensees in Missouri can fill the remainder of their hours with core or elective courses of their choice, after satisfying the ethics core requirement.
The current broker and salesperson renewal for the 2024-2026 and the 2026-2028 license period will require an approved CORE course on Fair Housing.
Seat Time: The Missouri Real Estate Commission requires that all students spend a minimum amount of seat time engaged in the course content. Our online course delivery system manages this requirement for you.

Reporting: The state requires schools to report course completions within 14 business days from the course completion date. Course completions will be reported within this time frame.
PLEASE NOTE: If CE courses are completed in the last 14 days before your expiration date, there is no guarantee that your courses will be uploaded to your record in time for the online renewal option; therefore, you will have to mail in a paper renewal with copies of your course certificates. The paper renewal MUST be postmarked on or before your expiration date.
Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course but are generally one year after order date. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in your account.
Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with at least a 75% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass.
Certificates: Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course certificate of completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your certificate(s) of completion with your renewal. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date on your certificate of completion will reflect this.
License Renewal Process: The process to renew in this state is to log in to the licensing system online and follow the prompts to renew.
