This package is designed to provide you with the 90 hours of instruction required to be eligible for a West Virginia salesperson license. It also includes three non-credit courses to help you build your business.

This course provides 90-hours of instruction required of all applicants for a salesperson’s license in West Virginia. The course prepares learners for the West Virginia licensing exam and provides the foundation necessary to be a successful real estate licensee in West Virginia. The course includes 30 hours of principles and practice content, 20 hours of real estate law content, 20 hours of real estate finance content, and 20 hours of real estate appraisal content. This package also includes Exam Prep Edge.

State Requirements For West Virginia

WEST VIRGINIA REQUIREMENT DETAILS FOR REAL ESTATE PRE-LICENSING EDUCATION

Hours Required By The State: 90 hours

Licensing Exam: The licensing exam is administered by PearsonVUE. Registration for the state licensing exam is an entirely separate process from proctoring for your course final exam. For instructions to register for your state licensing exam and further information, please click here.

The CE Shop Offering: 90 hours

Reporting: The state does not require schools to report course completions.

Expiration Date of Course: The CE Shop’s Pre-Licensing courses expire one year after the date of purchase. The CE Shop will allow students to purchase a new course at a 50% discount of the current retail price of the new course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in the student’s account.

Certificates: Immediately upon course completions, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course certificate of completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your application to determine if you need to submit your certificate(s) of completion. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date on your certificate of completion will reflect this.

Final Exam: Final exams must be passed with a minimum of 70% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass.
