After you complete all course materials, you must pass the course final exam. Your Pre-Licensing school will provide this test, and upon passing you will receive a certificate of completion.

Pass the Wisconsin Real Estate Exam

After you pass the course final exam, you are eligible to take the Wisconsin real estate licensing exam. The exam is 140 questions. You can pay for the test ahead of time and reserve your spot by visiting the Pearson VUE website.

Select a sponsoring broker.

After passing your licensing exam, you must become associated with a current and active sponsoring broker. This broker will be a career and education mentor providing you with an inside view into the day-to-day operations of a real estate agent.

Submit your Wisconsin real estate application

You’re now ready to complete the application for a Wisconsin Salesperson License. There is a $60 licensure fee due when you submit your application. Upon a successful application review by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, you will be recognized as a Wisconsin salesperson in real estate.
